city existential walk

One day I decided to bring my camera along with me on one of my daily existential walks around the city. It was around 9PM on a weekday, and I was immediately struck by how quiet and empty the city can become.

Only a few blank staring faces left on the muni, as all the commuters were already tucked away in their sheets after a long day of office smalltalk.

Diners flashing open signs, without a single soul inside.

Sporadic hooligans up to no good.

Are there actually people staying at this lovely travel lodge in the heart of the Duboce Triangle? There was definitely no one outside.

Where do all the people go?
